Check the Glycol Freezing Point

Access the glycol in its tank, then, using a hydrometer, check its freezing point. It should be lower than that of water. For great maintenance, you may want to do this at least twice a year. Check the Viscosity of the Glycol

Adjust your Solution Ratio

However, in extremely cold conditions, you may want to increase the proportion of your glycol slightly and, in extremely hot conditions, decrease it slightly.
